The 4 sub-projects of cleverMoWe

Sub-project 1: Mobile Future Structure for the Wendland:

The restructuring of the public transport services as a clear network structure ensures a sustainable mobility supply for the rural population through mobility stations and the intelligent integration of civil society mobility initiatives in the area development. Public transport is restructured with main and secondary routes. In addition, smaller towns and villages are to be connected to the area.

Sub-project 2: Intermodality for the Wendland region

Mobility stations are intended to simplify access to public transport and climate-friendly mobility alternatives. It is planned to set up 20 mobility stations in the district, which, depending on local conditions and needs, will make it easy to switch to the bicycle, the pedelec, the e-load bike, the citizens' transport service, the call bus, the car sharing car or other locally adapted mobility offers.

Sub-project 3: Digital networking for the Wendland:

A mobility app provides the digital information layer about the mobility system of the district and enables the planning of routes and booking of tickets, season tickets and modular tickets. The mobility platform provides users with real-time information, route planning, booking options and e-ticketing for the services.

Sub-project 4: Smart tariff for the Wendland region

The current tariff system should be changed and adapted. The tariff system should be further developed with regard to transparency and combination possibilities with sharing offers.
