The information on data protection is provided in connection with your registration for and participation in online events as part of Digitaltag 2021. We need your data in order to be able to plan and carry out your participation in a video conference.
If you or a third person (e.g. your employer or legal guardian) who registers you does not provide the required registration data when registering, you cannot be registered or invited for a conference.
Automatic profiling or automated decision-making is not planned and does not take place.
2.1 Purposes and legal bases of processing
Your data is processed in order to be able to organise and conduct the respective video conference. Depending on the area of application, different regulations serve as the legal basis for the processing of your data.
If we conduct the videoconference as part of an initiation or implementation of contractual relationships, e.g. when conducting seminars, your data will be processed pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO.
Special functions:
Data protection-friendly settings have been made for the use of the video event, such as
- The recording function is deactivated for video events during the Digital Day. In the event that an event is to be recorded in an exceptional case, this will be communicated transparently and in good time in advance and their consent will be obtained.
- If it is necessary for the purposes of logging results, the chat contents will be logged. However, this will usually not be the case and will also be communicated in advance. Questions asked by participants may also be processed for recording and follow-up purposes.
2.2 Recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data
Your personal data will be transmitted to
- internal authorised employees to plan and implement the online events.
2.3 Transfer of personal data to a third country
In the course of using the video conferencing system, your data will be transmitted to the parent organisation Zoom Video Communications, Inc, San Jose Headquarters, 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA.
The transfer to the unsafe third country takes place pursuant to Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR on the basis of standard data protection clauses previously approved by the EU Commission.
2.4 Duration of the storage of personal data
If you are registered as a user at "Zoom", then reports on "online meetings" (meeting metadata, telephone dial-in data, questions and answers in webinars, survey function in webinars) can be stored at "Zoom" for up to one month.
